What is the name of your state? Washingtion

so the other night i had about 1.5 beers which I am guessing is around like 18 ounces of normal canned beer. roughly 2 hours later when me my friends we sitting in a car (not mine and not moving) some cops showed up and asked us to step out of the car. we all were respectful and did everything they asked. they asked us to take a breathlyzer and i blew a .01 BAC. they arrested me right there and searched me, read me my rights, called my parents and said i was being charged with an MIP. I didn't know i could get charged with that for just have the smallest amount of alcohol in my system. well they let me go and get a ride home with my friends who came to pick me up and the police said i would be getting a court date in the mail.

So what I would like to know is HOW SERIOUS IS THIS CRIME??? i heard i lose my driving lincense????? but i was't even driving or in my car? on my statement it says how well behaved and respectful i was and i am an outstanding student with no criminal record what so ever up until now.

So what do you guys think is going to come of this? what is the best way to get out of this if even possible???

I am freaking out right now and could really use your opinions on what to do and what might happen to me.

Thanks so much,
josh

According to the following site:
"What happens if I am found guilty of minor in possession?

When a court or other juvenile agency notifies us that you have violated the minor in possession law, we will:
* revoke your driver license.

* mail you a letter that:
o explains the revocation.
o lists options you have for reinstating your license early.
o includes a form to appeal the revocation."
