17 dating 21 in IL .. please help

I'm turning 17 in less than a month, and my boyfriend is 21. We're talking about getting engaged, and I was wondering if it would be legal in IL for me to move in with him if we were engaged. My mom freaked out when she heard i stayed with him at his house and then i told her we were thinking about getting married and she threw another fit. Anyways, i was just wondering if it was legal in IL for me to move in with a 21 year old when i turn 17 if we were engaged. please help!
