35 yr old woman, 17 yr old boy

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NY

Is there any way that I am going to get into trouble for not being about to stop my 17 yr old son from having sexual relations with a 35 yr old woman? He is living under my roof.

do you want to stop it?

if you do, you can file a restraining order on the woman. how much longer til son is 18?

She's saying she doesn't want to stop them, and she's asking if she can get in trouble for not stopping them.

Yep, I misread that just a wee bit.

Regardless the age of consent in NY state appears to be 17 anyway.

I think at this point Mary Jo knows more about the age of consent than all of us put together...
