in the state of Ohio is it true that you can legally date someone 4 years older than you if your are 16 and do not have sex?

In all 50 states, at any age you can legally *date* (without sexual contact) anyone, of any age, that your parents permit you to date.

There are NO laws anywhere in the US about DATING, at any age. There are plenty of laws regarding who a minor can or cannot have sex with.

That being said, if you're 16 a 20 year old is way too old for you.
