I'm from California.
On January 2nd, Sunday of last week, I had gotten arrested for shoplifting first by the Loss Prevention of Macy's and while they wrote a narrative and got my stats, they called the nearby Pasadena police. An officer came by, handcuffed me and escorted me to the station.
Once there I spent four hours in a holding room, helping the officer fill out papers and got my picture/prints onto their documents and waited for my mother to pick me up.
Now I'm supposed to go to court on March 2nd and I don't know what I should get ready for. I know I'm definetely not going to get laid off easy since the store was Macy's and it was considered a commercial burglary or something.
My charges I think were: $300 worth of merchandise and since I've done it before and just gotten away with it, I doubt they're going to stop at the time of my arrest.
Well, anyway... Thanks for hearing me out. If anyone knows what is going to become of me, please let me know.
