What is the name of your state? Texas

My son now 19 has a misdameanor (theft) on his record - he was 17 at the time. He applied for a job and was rejected because of his record. I was told he could get his record esponged and that required a lawyer. Do I need a lawyer or is this something I can do myself and how? What is the name of your state?

Why should his record be expunged? It's his record.

Yes, HE will need an attorney to even attempt this. Not you -- it's HIS record.
