What is the name of your state? Wisconsin

How would I go about getting emancipated? I'm 17 and my parents are moving to Texas for my senior year. I would like to stay, but they aren't listening to me and I feel this is my only option if I want to stay.

My parents moved me in my junior year of HS. And I moved with them after they refused to let me stay with my best friend and her parents (turned out to be a good choice, after all... friend's dad was a molester).

But to be emancipated, you have to be able to support yourself, paying all your bills (housing, food, utilities, insurance, car, cell, internet). Then you have to file with the court and prove that you do all this for yourself.

HOWEVER, since you live in Wisconsin, according to the site http://www.jlc.org/factsheets/4/
"Wisconsin
There is no emancipation status in this state"

and according to this site http://www.deltabravo.net/custody/emancipate1.php, emancipation occurs
"Wisconsin when child turns 18, or if child is in high school, when child turns 19 or graduates, whichever is first"

So, suck it up, you are moving to Texas.
