In Florida here.
I just got one quick question. say 2 17 year olds were to fight in the state of Florida, each of them gave their consent to fight, what kind of charges would they recieve if their parents were to press charges.

Wow! Did they pull hair and tear clothing? Where in FL did this hypothetical fight occur? Did one of them die, end up in intensive care, or was he simply embarrassed in front of his friends? Were their medical bills? Are the parents wealthy? Does either party have health insurance? Do the parents have homeowners insurance or renters insurance? What about an umbrella policy?

So in other words, you have a pair of dumbass teens in a pissing contest. If the parents (either set) decide to sue, it will be obvious that the apple didn't fall far from the tree.

After reading the rest of the thread I'd have to say that the police and the DA are not going to waste time on this. The police will probably have everyone provide a statement and then they will submit the report to the DA who will either toss it into the trash can, or, charge both girls for fighting in a public place.

The cops and the DA's office hate these sort of things.
