son arrested for possesion

What is the name of your state? CA
My son was arrested last night for possession for sale and transporting and sale. He had approx. 4 1/2 ounces of pot and a scale.
They released the car to me and his friend and took him to be finger printed and released him to me a couple of hours later.

This is his first offense and we do not know what our next step should be.Any advice would be greatly appreacited!

Sales is a felony charge. While it is unlikely that he will do time in CYA, it is a theoretical possibility. He needs an attorney ASAP.
