Citizen of the State of PA:
I recently have given birth to my daughter. I am currently 17 and will be 18 in about a month and a half. I was wondering if I am able to move out of my house and in with my boyfriend's family without the concent of my parents. They are giving me a hard time, and I say they will report me as a runaway if I would leave. Would I get in trouble if I move out despite their threats? I was told in the hospital by a nurse that I was emancipated, but my mother told me that it only meant medically. Please help! If knowing the County in which I reside in would help in any way, I live in Berks County.
