What is the name of your state? Pennsylvania

I have a very good 17 yr old boy friend of my daughter's, who I took in. He is paying for his older brother's and mother's mishaps in life for the past 1 1/2 yrs. Now in 12th grade and in an alternative school since the middle of his 10th grade year. His parents kicked him out and withdrew him from this school. All he wants to do, is go to school, promote to a career/technical school and do good in life. His parents will not co-operate for him to do this. What can I do, being I took him in or could I be in troble for doing this?

Please help!

you can call the police and have the parents charged with child abandonment then you can file for guardianship. But don't hold your breath.
