Hypothetically speaking, what if I am 17 and sent nude pics to a girl who is 21. She sent pics of herself first and asked from pics in return. She now threatens to report it. Wouldn't she be the only one to get in trouble because my face was not in any of the pics so technically I could have got them from the internet. So she would just be getting herself in trouble for soliciting nude pictures from a minor, right? This is all "hypothetical."

What is the hypothetical state involved, answer2? Are both of the "photographers" in the same state?

Hypothetically, the nude photos can be passed around online and work to ruin the reputations of both the 21 year old and the 17 year old, this even if no criminal charges are pursued.

You will both be in trouble. And if you are so idiotic that you think keeping your "face" out of the pic will prevent you from identification ...well...there is no hope for your future.

Grow up and stop sexting.

Minors that sent nude pictures of themselves have been prosecuted for distribution of child porn. I recall at least one situation where the minor was also charged with child porn for possessing nude pictures of themselves. While generally I cannot see such possession as unlawful (kind of like being charged for battery if yiu punch yourself) but if the pictures are being distributed as child porn by them, it becomes less of a personal rights issue and does sway into the illegal child porn arena.

The thing you don't understand, if you provided child porn to this person it doesn't matter if the pics are of yiu or some pics you got off the net; you would be guilty of distributing child porn.

So contrary to your misbelief, you both could spend time in prison and be required to register on the sex offenders list of your state.

And honestly? Your.... attributes.... probably aren't all that special. No one needs photos.

Why is she threatening to report it?

Is she blackmailing you?
If answer2 returns, he really needs to provide his state name (or state names, if more than one state is involved).

The answers to his questions are state-specific.
