Adverse Action Question

What is the name of your state?I live in Georgia. My fiancé and I were recently turned down for an apartment because of something that turned up on his criminal check. Is the company from which the apartment leasing agency received the criminal check required to supply that information in the same way credit agencies must? And if so, must they supply all the information they used to make their decision if they only gave the leasing agency a "yes-they're-clear, no-they're-not" answer?
