What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Tennessee

Hello,
I moved into my apt. one week ago only to find out that I am allergic to something in it. I had the carpets cleaned and even bought two air purifiers but nothing seems to help my allergies. I think for my health's sake, it's best I move out. How can break my lease without too much hassle and can I avoid paying one month's rent to break it? The place was kept clean and the previous tenants had no issues with it.

Thanks for your help!

Offer to pay your LL the advertising cost for a new tenant, and a couple of months rent to be let out of your lease. You should also consider the possibility that your allergies may have nothing to do with your apartment and more to do with a recent purchase of soap or some other household product.
