What is the name of your state? Oregon
I have a friend that is supposed to move due to a housing rental abatement. She attended a class on Friday and was told that she would have to turn in her keys to her current landlord and her landlord would then need to contact housing and tell them that she has the keys before they will inspect her new unit. Then she will have no where to go if her new unit fails the inspection as she will have turned in her keys and basically vacated her current unit. Can housing do this? Do you think they will inspect both units at that time?
