I currently live in stillwater ok. I had a late payment agreement with my landlord since oct. 2016 i was told by my landlord that it no longer stood and that i would have to pay rent normally or face being evicted. I dont get paid until the 26th of each month so i was unable to meet what they said and now am wondering if i can give a 30 day notice before they file for the eviction.

Sure, but that doesn't mean you can't be evicted prior to the 30 day notice expiring.

Im not understanding
If you're late on rent and you give a 30 day notice, your LL can STILL give you a 5-day notice to pay rent or quit. If you don't pay your rent within 5 day or quit, then the LL can move forward with the eviction process.
