What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Oregon
In my experience, most landlord-tenant law does not necessarily apply uniformly to both residential and commercial leases. I have found that in some cases, the LL on a commercial lease IS allowed to do things such as lockout a tenant for nonpayment of rent.
Can anyone tell me if this is the case for a commercial lease in Oregon? Is such an action considered legal if it is included in a commercial lease agreement. If so, is there specific case law or specific statute that addresses this issue?
