dyvetime. i am perplexed whereas my landlord hired someone to trim trees in my yard(his rental prop.)and a limb fell on the power feed into the house causing a major power surge 'frying' my electronics. i have no renters insurance either, nor are there any ground fault outlets. can i recover this money? is this negligence? what are my options???? it's not enough to get an attorney involved, yet, it is over $1000.00. HELP!!!!

Well you could take the handyman to small claims court as well since his incompetence led to your stuff being fried.
