What is the name of your state? IA

I can't pay my rent this month. Could you please tell me the way eviction works in Iowa? Also how long the process takes before I am actually put on the street? There is no rental agreement. I have lived here 1 year and 2 months. Thank you for the factual answers.

Very simple:
1) You breach your lease.
2) Landlord gives you a written 3 day notice to pay or quit (leave).
3) You leave.
4) If you don't leave, landlord files an eviction suit against you. These are heard on an expedited basis, usually a week or less.
5) You lose in court. Court then gives you a week or so to leave on your own.
6) You leave.
7) If you don't leave on your own, the sheriff will come help you.... and stack your crap on the sidewalk.

Also how long the process takes before I am actually put on the street?
Often 10 to 14 days.

Or, you could have just googled 'Iowa Eviction Process' and gotten LOTS of sites, including:
