I have requested that my Landlord provide an exterminator as the house is infested with black ants. She claims it is my responsibility but I do not understand why that would be the case when she should be providing a clean living space. Can someone please tell me if it is my responsibility or not

What does your lease say regarding the matter of pests?

The concern of the landlord is that if you are not providing a clean living space your habits may be drawing these ants.
