| Florida Tenant Law What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida
In a nutshell, I'm trying to get the rent that I paid in advance back. I'm trying to read through the law and I'm slightly confused by what it says here:
"This subsection does not apply to any landlord who rents fewer than five individual dwelling units. Failure to provide this notice shall not be a defense to the payment of rent when due. "
Does that apply to the subsection above with regards to notifying me of where my money is held (subsection 2), does it apply to subsection 3 and all its components, or does it apply to the whole section (83.49)?
When I look at it, it looks like it's an ending clause of Sub-Section (2). Reading the other points, it refers to other "subsections" by number.
