How long until eviction?

What is the name of your state? Alabama

A house is occupied by a tenant. The house will have a new owner on December 3 due to some legal matters not concerning the tenant. How long will the tenant have to vacate before eviction, should it come to that?

Depends whether the tenant has a term lease or month to month.

No written agreement

To my understanding, there is no formal agreement between the current owner and tenant. I guess that would make it a month-to-month? If so, how long? Thanks for reply.
