Lease Holder Trying to Evict Occupant

I'm a resident of Lucas county in Ohio wanting to evict my roommate. She's not a lease holder but she is an occupant under the lease, but I am a lease owner. She's lived in my apartment since June 1st and does not pay any rent. I've heard from several people that I need to give her notice to evict her, but it's unclear whether it's 30 days or 3 days. How much notice do I have to give her, and what would be the beginning steps?

Look up Ohio tenant landlord act. If she owes you rent, you need to give her a pay or quit notice.( usually 3 to 5 days) If she doesn't pay up then you have to file eviction papers in court. If no rent is involved, then the notice is just a termination notice that can vary from 15 to 60 days depending on the state you live in.
