Question

We live in Florida, we are in court procedures with the old management, who was in charge of a 3 unit apt. complex. We have a civil charge against him and the owners of the premises. They were ordered by the courts to pay all utilities, until the procedure is done.Since then they have reopened under different licenses with a different name.Question is since we are in civil court with them, and they are having everyone to sign a new lease and take care of their own utlilties, and 2 out of 3 of the apt. buildings is not licensed, and the one not licensed we live in.Are we liable to sign a new lease and move to one of the 2 buildings that are licensed. Since we were ordered by the court for them to pay our utilities, or do we have to sign a new lease and turn on our own utilities ourselves.
Also another question is the apt. buildings were not licensed for the past 3 years and we just found this out about 6 months ago, we heard that we could file papers through the courts and recieive all back rent that was paid for the months apts. wasn't licensed.

Sincerely
L.Alverson
