Lease Trouble Continues

What is the name of your state? Wisconsin.

I posted a question regarding paying rent after I had to move home due to medical reasons. Thank you for your help. I should have added that the landlord requested the keys back and they were given to him. So, I couldn't sublet or live there anyway. Should he have taken them back if he expected me to pay rent?? Thank you again for any help. I don't want to get in trouble for not paying but medically I can't go to school/work at this time.

You have moved out .

If you didn't pay rent for March , then the LL isn't out of line to request your keys .

If you have paid rent , he is not within his rights .

BTW , reply to your original post about the same issue .

It gives members who are replying ALL the background info. in order to advise.
