What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas.

My property manager started testing fire alarms in units without making sure all the notices were sent out. She claimed that since she didn't have to enter the apartment to do so, that it's perfectly legal not to notify me. The alarm was tested by sounding it while I was home without warning at 10am.
