New Orleans...(urgent)need info on including a
limited occupancy clause into a month to month
rental agrement.Tenant moved into a 1 bedroom
double with girlfriend and 2 kids. He said he was
single and I made it very clear it was for a single
person, also told him the double is shared by 1
water meter. I gave him the average cost for a
single person based on 6 years.

You have to check local law. You may not find it in statutes, but rather in case law.

In California, you can specify how many people are to occupy the unit, including specifying the particular people, and it is enforceable. But you have to check your local situation.
