Daughter shared apartment with roommate. One year lease went to month to month with a 90 day notice to move (ridiculous). Girls had a fight. Daughter gave notice in the middle of the month that she'd be out by end of month. In the meantime, roommate told landlord she wanted locks changed so daugher goes to move stuff and cannot get in...door lock is changed...she was given no notice that this was happening. Is she still liable to pay rent for 90 days or until another tenant moves in even though she has no key to get into the front door of the apartment?
