Mold

What is the name of your state? CA

Hello
I live in a townhouse style apartment. My sister and I live together. 1)There is mold growing in the closet in one of the bathrooms and 2) the hardwood floor is swollen due to a leak in the bottom half-bathroom downstairs. The bathroom door cannot close all the way as well as the front door cannot open all the way due to it being adjacent to the bathroom. My sister and I have brought this to the attention of the management company more than once in the past sixty days and they have done nothing to fix the problem. We recently found, as well, termites in one of the french doors that face to the street. (Could they have friends?)
Can we demand inspection for the mold by a professional? I actually had a bout of pneumonia recently, but didn't put two and two together. I could have been that the mold caused it. Also, Can we contact the city regarding this?
These units will be sold as condominiums sooner than later, so we'll be moving within the next four or five months or so. I really hope the landlady doesn't try to blame us for this. We didn't cause the damage on the floors or the closet.

Thanks

Did you send the information to the landlord via certified mail, return receipt requested? If you didn't, she could claim that she was never informed about the situation.

How do you know they're termites?

Did the doctor confirm that your pneumonia comes from mold?

Did you take pictures when you moved in?
