what is the exact wording of your lease when it comes renewal time?

Does it automatically convert to a month to month lease or for another year?

Month to month you can give your 30 day notice to move before the next rent due date, year to year the landlord is correct you have to stay until may 31st.

Next...you wrote to extend the lease for a few months, did the landlord sign anything to that effect?

Thumbs up

mother may I (cont'd)

i will have to request a copy of my lease to find out just what it states particularly, but I remember reading something to the effect of a 30 day notice and no, the landlord never signed anything to the effect of an "extension" of my original lease. i only have email files of my requests for extensions as such...awaiting your response appreciatively
