Question

Moving out early?

What is the name of your state? Pennsylvania

This has kind of been asked in a few other threads below but none really had the same problem. I signed an apartment lease with my rommate back in may, but f I need to move out (possibly for a new job) what obligation am I under to her or can I just settle with the landlord to get off the lease? I assume there's way around a lease agreement if you have to move, etc... is it totally up to what the landlord what to do?

No, there's probably not a way "around" the lease, but read it to find out. But both you and your roommate are responsible for the rent until the lease is up. If you need to move early, you can find another tenant who is acceptable to both the roommate and the landlord, or you can keep paying rent until the lease is up.
