Name off of a lease

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA


I share a house with my boyfriend and both of ou names are on the lease. However, I need him to get out. He keeps telling me that I can't make him leave because both of our names are on the lease. What can I do?

You can't force him to leave, he has as much right to be there as you do. His name can only be removed from the lease if you AND him AND your landlord agree to make the change. Short of that, you will have to wait until the lease term is up and then move yourself.
