New Problem

In Iowa, update to our ongoing "soap opera" here. New question too. Now our landlord has turned off our water. He did give us an eviction notice, such as it was, (see previous posts) and we have every intention of being out of this house by Feb. 1. Is it legal for him to turn off our water, and not answer our calls regarding this? We have a 2 yr old in this house, and cannot go without water. I have contacted the sheriff's dept. for this county, because we are rural, and I am wondering what are my other options, if any, to get our water back on. Water is included in our rent (see previous posts). Please help. Emergency here!

Yup keep calling the sherriff or police......

and file a complaint against the landlord see if you can have him arrested for cutting the utilities.

Areesting the landlord is your only hope.

now what?

Now I can't get the sheriff to get out here and find out what's going on.. What else can I do? We can't live like this, even for a couple of days, and we have NO MONEY to go anywhere else!
