Hi, I rent a converted rowhouse in Washington DC with 2 other roommates. We don't have a lease. One of my roommates hasn't been paying his rent and has had a lot of problems with the landlord (who has been calling me to try and sort this out...). THe landlord wants him gone. My question is, is it possible to evict one roommate without evicting the rest of us? Especially since we're not on a lease? This is definitely a course of action our landlord would take, but he doesn't want to hurt us in the process.
Thanks for any insight!
