What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? IL


The one year lease for my current tenant expired on April 30, 2009. No communication occurred between us re: renewal. It is likely that I will want to return to my unit in August of 2009. What sort of notice re: vacating (and in what form) must I provide? This is a condo on Chgo Il

What does your existing lease with the tenant state in regards to giving notice?
You better hope you don't have an auto-renew clause.
