What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Kentucky

Hi my name is Wes. My landlord is saying that the contract we signed is null and void because the house is in his and his ex's name, and that the rental agreement is only in his name. This can't be right can it? I mean I guess if you can void a contract over the date then this is plausible. Any advice?

Rental agreement is valid. Any argument between owner 1 and owner 2 of the property has NOTHING to do with you.

Lease is valid. You relied on his representation that he was the landlord so his problem is with his ex-wife if he did something wrong * not with you.
