What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida

We moved into a home where an initial move in walkthrough never took place (for no particular reason). From the time we moved in, there was a small tile kind of caving in on the shower wall in the bathroom. We never saw mold around it or water going into it, so never mentioned it to the landlord.
It turns out that this loose tile led to a major mold problem in the wall that we didn't know about until we were moving out.

Question: Is the burden of proof on the landlord or tenant as to when the tile damage happened? Does the landlord have to prove that the tile damag
wasn't there before or do we have to prove that it was?
