What is the name of your state? Ca

I recieved a ninety day termination notice from my manager and in the month that the notice expires I was asked to prorate my rent. What does the law say is this right?

Look at your Lease - what does it say about termination?
Your LL has a room temperature IO if he offered to prorate the rent. Get that little fact in writing!

Um

Why the heck wouldn't you want to pro-rate the rent? If the 90 day notice was given mid-month say the 14th for you to get out the 14th of the third month then you only have to pay 14 days not the entire 30. That is California's law. Other State's say you have to pay the entire month.

Whats the beef?
