Question in regards to lease renew, advice?

Hi there. (I am in Indiana by the way)

I have lived in my apartment for two years now, and my lease is up September 1st. Last year the manager gave me my new lease in July, but this year it's almost the end of August and I still have yet to get my new lease. I have asked the front office months ago and they said they would get it to me, but nothing as of yet.

What will happen after Sept. 1st if I have yet to sign the new lease?

Review your current lease . If your lease doesnt automatically renew for the same amount and same identical term then you become a month to month renter where your term is short and can be changed like a notice to move OR a increase in rent with the amount of notice your state says month to month renters must get .
