so when they say we are still allowed "reasonable access" to her belongings even after the sheriff comes and goes....that is what I need clarification on. |
Look, I do not understand any of this time-line and I do not mean to sound Harsh, but she must have known she was going to be evicted.
Now it is at the last minute ( could be that I am too late) and you want to know where to get boxes. I don't understand your question of reasonable access? Your sister had five days. Plus the original thirty when she got the UD notice, and the 3-days when she got the notice to pay (or act) and quit... If she was in the Hospital, she should have asked you to pack at that time. Not now.
Heckfire, the property that you cannot scramble into the back of your pickup, SUV or station wagon is the landlords to store for up to 18 days (your sister will incur those costs). He can then send your sister a notice to pick the stuff up If she doesn't and if the landlord thinks the stuff is less than $300.00 he can sell it at auction or keep it.
Say hi to the Sheriff for me.
