What is the name of your state? Wisconsin

Hi,
I rent a house with 7 other people 8 including me. I need to move out because of my job, how would I go about getting my name removed from the lease? Do I need the other roommates consents? the total rent does not change with me moving. we all pay into one total. I believe the law recongnizes the doctorin of impossible grounds but what would that cover?

All parties to the lease (landlord and all roomies) would have to agree to remove your name from the lease.

Talk to your roommates and then talk to your landlord. You can't unilaterally remove your name from the lease. All parties have to agree.
