Is there anyway to get out of a lease that was just signed?
Is there a time period? What is the name of your state?

some states have buyers remorse statutes that allow a person to basically change their mind on any contract within 3 days or 7 days or whatever the statutes says. try googling that for CA

M to recind a contract it needs to be something that would have been sold to you in your own home, like a security alarm system, aluminum siding, encyclopedias, etc , your going to owe something for breaking it. SO depending on when the lease was to start I would suggest negotiating with the LL to learn what it will take for them to cancel the lease agreement.

**A: that does not apply to residential leases of real estate.
