Does anyone know if there are codes or ordinances regarding maximum occupancy of a unit? I have a prospective tenant who has great credit and great references but has 4 kids and this is a two bedroom apartment. It seems there might be a federal restriction? I would hate to rent the unit to her and find that it is illegal to do so. Any info would be great.
