"Is a legal auctioneer needed for a Public Sale (posted in newspaper as a legal notice) or can someone else handle it? PLEASE leave this post this time...thx".

Certified mail *IS* first class. It's just special handling on first class (or possibly priority). RRR is an additional feature. Depending on the law you are trying to meet, if it only specifies first class, your certified receipt with the postmark on it is all that is needed.

thank you Ron....if we also put it in the PO box that would be considered hand delivering it which is also an option under the civil code, correct? that would be an additional assurance she got it in case we never get the stub back on the registered mail?
