Is there a statute of limitations on illegal rent increase discovery. I found that there is 4 years with written contracts, wouldn't a lease be a written contract ? I am not sure if there is any statute of limitations on landlord tenant issues like this.
ThanksWhat is the name of your state?

A lease is a written contract, however I am not sure if there is a statute of limitations on illegal rent increases. IAAL is our resident California pro so if he answers you would do well to heed his advice.
