What is the name of your state? nevada
have been tenant 3 yrs @move-in signed 2 yr lease, renewed add 2yr. owner resides out of state & hired p m co. in jan - received letter jan. 8 from p m co. to mail rent etc. to them but received no advance notification from owner. p m co. has charged us late charges 2 mo. in a row stating rent was late though per our lease agreement -w- owner it wasn't. p m co. refused march rent unless we pay late fees - gave us a 5-day pay or quit and "as per lease, assessed a $77 fee" no where in our lease does this clause exist am i correct that our lease -w- the owner is the true legal & binding one as we have signed no other and that p m co. cannot rewrite, amend, change rent due dates. assess fees etc. to that lease? except for letter in jan. from p m co about where to mail rent pymt. we have received nothing else from them nor were we asked to sign an amended lease -w- them being listed as agents for the owner.

definately justkonfused!

*** Yes.

"except for letter in jan. from p m co about where to mail rent pymt. we have received nothing else from them nor were we asked to sign an amended lease -w- them being listed as agents for the owner."
*** So, continue sending your rent to the owner as shown in your lease..... until you receive written notice from the owner directing you to do otherwise. Also, what response did you get from the owner when you contacted him/her in WRITING??
