1 week to trial Lawyer hasnt done anything-HELP!!

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas
We have been in pretrial for 6 months and attorney has done absolutely nothing.He had stated that he would retrieve PAMEO/Psych records from Huntsville as well as current records from county. We have no case/defense without giving D.A. something to look at besides 11 month old file. Is there anyway for a reset? Do we have any options at all?
