Question

Am I responsible for following a ruling that I havent seen?!

What is the name of your state? AL

My ex and I went to court to get our divorce decree revised. The judge has finally signed off on the papers. My ex has got a copy from his lawyer, but my lawyer has yet to send me my copy.

My ex wants to start abiding by the what is set out in the revised decree. But since i dont have a copy I don't know what the final ruling said.

This is in regards specificly to visitation with our kids.

MY QUESTION: Am I responsible for following a decree that I havent seen? At this point and time I am unable to go to the court house to get a copy as it is in another state (the same state as my attorney).

Yes, it is your responsibility to get that decree and since it's been signed by the judge already it is to be followed....
