| Attorney Admits Malpractice Missouri
My attorney fully admits malpractice resulting in dismissal of my case for neglecting to file his reponse to a motion for summary judgement. It was actually his second failure to respond - the first resulted in Count 1 of the complaint being dismissed. Both of these motions could easily have been won, had there been a response at all.
My question is: he has willingly agreed to an insurance claim being filed, what is the procedure I can expect, and how long will it take. What settlement can be expected? Will I have to proof the underlying case could have been won if the attorney in question fully admits fault and files the claim with his insurance carrier? I can find no data on this situation online anywhere. |
