    attorney/client privelage

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? missouri
In a divorce case, if one party has done something illegal that may affect the settlement, can that party discuss openly with their own attorney without said attorney being obligated to say reveal anything to a prosecuter?

That is a very state-specific answer and would require a lot more facts. Generally, no. But, some states don't prevent an attorney from reporting continuing crime especially when fraud is involved.
